Two years ago when we created MetaLogicª Research, Inc. we were focused primarily on the marketing of mail based patient satisfaction surveys to hospitals. In marketing our surveys we found that many hospitals thought mail surveys were expensive, imposed on hospital staff, took too long to conduct, and used statistics that staff found difficult to interpret. Hospitals asked us why researchers could not invent a new way of surveying patient opinion more efficiently and more reliably than is possible with either paper or phone surveys.
Coincidentally, as hospitals were telling us why they did not want paper surveys we received a patent on an Internet based market research methodology that we had designed for another purpose. We call our new program MetaChoiceª.
Well, there is nothing quite as rewarding as listening to our customers. After thinking about what hospitals had told us we realized that our new invention could easily be used to document patient satisfaction, with less expense, less delay, less imposition on staff, and without using statistics. But, more important, we realized that MetaChoiceª could easily be used to document all kinds of consumer research much more reliably than traditional methods.
MetaChoice is really three uniquely useful market research tools.
MetaChoice can be used to assist individuals in Decision-Making; it can be used for Opinion Polls; or it can be used for Quality Improvement.
